Prefers simple and filling. Steer away from Jams, Pickles, dried fruit. Prefers to add his own sauce.
Beverage preferences
Tea, coffee (not instant, milk optional, but never with sugar or anything sweet), fruit juices or cordial on occasion. Rarely soft drink, though soft spot for ginger beer.
Hot Beverage - Coffee, Milk, no sugar. Will drink anything cold, colder the better. Water is always good. LOVES Iced Coffee.
Alcohol
Enjoys in moderation. Partial to good red wine, fancy beers, nice whiskey or a G&T. Avoids alcohol (other than small tastings) before court.
Use small tasting cup for offerings. Will try most things. For social drinking Beer & Cider. Space out each alcoholic drink with non-alcohlic drink.

Self Care
Will sometimes need painkillers: 2x paracetemol + 2x ibuprofen works well
Make sure he’s wearing sun cream, hydrate him… Constantly. Paracetamol 2 tablets if he needs them.

Loves shiny, blingy things. Prefer not bottles of alcohol.
Dislikes
The idea that the SCA is a “Medieval society” - it is a pre-1600 group which includes highly diverse cultures and periods.
A Polite “No” is enough. This goes for everyone. Does not like Sales style “Overcoming Objections”
